Housing & Energy Assistance
Albany Community Action Partnership provides several programs to enable area residents to live safely and comfortably in their homes. Depending on their needs, area residents can recieve emergency funds for their heating costs, home improvements to make their homes more energy efficient, or home adaptations to accomodate a disability.
All of these services can save them money over time and allow them to use those much-needed funds for other important needs.

Access to Home provides needed home adaptions to enable individuals with disabilities to live safely and comfortably in their homes. The program also provides assistance to elderly individuals who needs adaptions to continue living in their home.
Weatherization Assistance helps families make their homes more energy efficient. This services leads to a more comfortable home and saved energy costs.
The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is an Albany County program that provides heat utility payment assistance to qualifying families.
